Elena Rossi, soprano

Born in Reggio Emilia, she began her musical studies at the Conservatory of her city. Winner of numerous competitions she debuted in Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro Bonci di Cesena in the role of Adina. Later she played the main roles in prestigious Italian and foreign theaters such as: Teatro Regio di Torino (Tosca), Arena di Verona (Tosca, Turandot in the role of Liù), Teatro la Fenice (The shrewd widow, The Rake's progress), Sferisterio di Macerata (Les Mamelles de Tirésias), Teatro San Carlo in Naples ( Fedora), Municipal Theater of Sao Paulo (Otello), Grand Theater of Macao (Norma), National Theater of Performing Arts of Beijing (Die Lustige Witwe), New Theater of Seoul (Traviata) and was involved in a Tour with Andrea Bocelli in the United States, Asia and the Middle East. He has collaborated with famous conductors and directors, including: Renato Palumbo, Asher Fish, Andrea Battistoni, Valerio Galli, Donato Renzetti, Enrique Mazzola, Maurizio Benini, Franco Zeffirelli, Hugo de Ana, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Giancarlo del Monaco , Damiano Michieletto, Daniele Abbado, David Alden.
